I have over thirty years of experience in the development and production of web videos, television programs/promotions, and documentaries. Before I started Cahaba New Media, I worked in programming and production at Alabama Public Television.
I produced & directed the award-winning films Direct Action - A Tale of Two Governments in 1963 Birmingham and Rosenbaum House- Frank Lloyd Wright in Alabama. I am currently in production for my next film, Another River to Cross - The Indian Legacy in Alabama. I co-produced or was cinematographer for films John Patterson - In the Wake of the Assassins; Eugene Walter - Last of the Bohemians; The Two Faces of William March and How They Got Over all of which aired on public television. I also covered news for Associated Press Television, CNN, MSNBC and series segments for PBS.
I produce promo spots for the public television series Discovering Alabama, and small business and marketing videos for Studio Now, Roya, Snippies, CGI Communications, JoVE, Zillow, Yelp!, Groupon and many other clients. I am skilled at cinematography and as an editor producing set interviews, testimonials, and documentary film.
I was previously an adjunct instructor in television production and a director for live sports web streaming at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I also taught television production at the University of Montevallo.
I am a graduate of The University of Alabama, and received my Master of Arts degree from Asbury University.
